The heart of the club is the activity programme. We offer as much diversity as possible within our resources and within the space available. Soccer We have a large soccer section: • nine regular teams play on Sundays from under 9’s to under 18 and • two senior teams on Saturdays Weight training The weight training and fitness room at the club is looked after by a qualified instructor who works on personal fitness plans for members, as well as more generic work on health, diet and general well being. Dance, arts and crafts and cookery. Led by trained instructors, all activities are run on a regular weekly basis and are open to all members who want to have a go! Computer We have an on-site computer suite available to members who want to research homework assignments, surf the net or just chat. One-offs In addition to the published programme we have one off events in the evenings, from a ‘quick quiz’ or ‘killer pool’ to debates about an issue of the day. Smaller stuff Small group work is also programmed in, so we have an area where issues can be discussed safely between members and staff. We have qualified workers available to provide our members one-to-one support and advice. The current full programme can been seen by clicking Programme in the menu on the left. But, what appears on your screen does not convey the experience of being a member of St Andrew’s. It is only a taste. The only true way to know if it is right for you is to come and see it in action.
