Fundraise for our next 150 Years!

St Andrew's Club celebrated our 150 year anniversary on 30 November 2016, and we want you to help ensure our future for the next 150 years! Our incredible fundraisers make a real difference to the lives of local young people in Westminster. Whether you're planning to walk the Thames, cycle from Scotland to London (see below), or London to Paris, host a dinner party or coffee morning, we think you're amazing!

If you would like to organise any event in support of the Club, or would like to discuss fundraising ideas, then please contact Annette Fettes, Chief Executive at annette@standrewsclub.com.

Here are some ways you can fundraise for us:

Thames Path Challenge: 7/8 September 2019

Take on the Thames Path Challenge following England's greatest river – either walking, jogging or running. The route heads upstream from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful scenery all the way to Henley.

There's also the 'Thames Bridges Trek' - 25km through Central London zig-zagging over 16 of London's historic bridges - with the best views of the Capital's landmarks.

Which ever distance you choose, and however you take it on, your challenge will be a test of stamina & determination, whilst raising invaluable funds for the Club.

Swim Serpentine: Saturday 21 September 2019

Entries have now closed for this year's iconic Swim Serpentine event and we have a great supporter of the Club, Alex, representing St Andrew's. If you would like to recognise Alex's efforts and make a donation to his fundraising page, please click here.

If you would like to show your interest in taking part in the 2020 Swim Serpentine event, please contact annette@standrewsclub.com.

Tough Mudder London South: 21 & 22 September 2019

Just an hour south of London, will be a weekend stacked full of obstacle fun and mud set among the stunning scenery and tricky terrain of the Holmbush Farm Estate.

If you're ready to face your fears and push yourself to new limits alongside your team, this is the event for you. There are 5km and 8-10mile options available. Please contact Annette@standrewsclub.com to find out more.

The Vitality Big Half: Sunday 1 March 2020

Don't miss out on a place for The Vitality Big Half- a unique running festival that truly represents the diversity and culture of London by bringing together runners from all backgrounds.

London's community half marathon starts at 09:00 by Tower Bridge and finishes at the Cutty Sark, passing through the boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham and Greenwich.

This event is truly unique, as a community running festival for everyone, no matter your age, background or running ability. This is a world-class running event that supports and encourages first-time runners to take part. The Club has 5 places available; please contact Annette@standrewsclub.com if you are interested.

Virgin Money London Marathon: Sunday 26 April 2020

If anyone has succeeded in securing a place in the public ballot for the London Marathon 2020 and would like to raise funds for St Andrew's Club, then we would love to hear from you. You can do so by contacting lucy@standrewsclub.com. St Andrew's hopes to be successful in the charity ballot for the 2021 event.

Prudential Ride London-Surrey100:
Sunday 16 August 2020

Huge thanks to our two amazing riders in the 2019 Ride London. Megan and Terry raised nearly £1,500 including Gift Aid for St Andrew's Club - enough to pay for 3 members to benefit from everything the Club has to offer for one year.

If you would like to ride for St Andrew's Club in 2020, the public ballot is now open - until 80,000 registrations have been received or Friday 3 January 2020, whichever is the earlier. If you are lucky and get a place, please let annette@standrewsclub.com know you will be riding for us!

Don’t fancy some of the bigger events?

We are a small charity and don’t organise our own challenge events. We are happy to help you put together a bespoke package or find an event further afield for family, friends or colleagues with some of the companies who do this for a living. Check out these websites; choose your event; sign up, set up your own fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving and raise what you can for St Andrew’s Club. Don’t forget to let us know so we can support you too.
