Remembering Alan Bradley MA, FIA

07 Oct 2019

Everyone at St Andrew’s Club was so sad to hear about the passing of Alan Bradley on 25 August. His involvement with and support of St Andrew’s Club will always be remembered and the Club pays tribute to him.

Alan made time from his distinguished council career to serve for nearly 40 years on the management committee (ex officio) and was a great friend and supporter of our work. He would have been greatly heartened to hear that Westminster City Council has recently recognised the need for funding for the vital work of youth services and that there will once again be support for our programmes that enrich young lives.

Barry Walsh, former member, Chairman and now Vice President says: “Alan Bradley was a trusted and treasured colleague. Over many years, the trustees of the Club benefited greatly from his tireless work on their behalf and, especially, from Alan's invaluable, kind counsel - not always what we wanted to hear but, inevitably, what we needed to hear! St Andrew’s has lost a great friend.”

Alan attended many of the Club’s events over the years, most recently, the President’s Reception in November 2017.
