Gifts in a Will
The home of St Andrew’s Club is Alec Wizard House, Old Pye Street, named after a former ‘home boy’, chairman, president and supporter, Alec Wizard, whose wife Irene left the Club a legacy to help continue its work. We are truly grateful for the generosity of anyone who leaves us a gift in their Will, whatever its value – every little does indeed help. Today’s legacy gifts will help us be here for future generations of local Westminster young people.
One way to support future generations of young people at St Andrew’s Club is with a gift or legacy to the
John Scott Fund
.
This growing, independent fund has a particular mission to provide some long term financial security to the Club. Named after, John Scott, who was the Club's President in the '60s and who gave great support to the Club and whose positive influence is still felt today, the John Scott Fund is a segregated account held within the Master Charitable Trust of Messrs Hoare Trustees (part of Hoare’s Bank) and has been established by friends and supporters of the Club.
Mr Christopher Hoare has pledged to leave a gift in his own will to the John Scott Fund:
I feel it important to make a gift to the John Scott Fund to underpin the sustainability of St Andrew’s Club in years to come. This will enable the Club to make a real difference to the lives of future generations of young people.

The Duke of Edinburgh, seen here with Alec Wizard, opened Alec Wizard House, Westminster in 1984.
