We’re delighted to announce that for seven days from 12pm #GivingTuesday 27th November to 12pm on Tuesday 4th December, your donations to St Andrew's Club will be doubled! If you’re thinking of making a donation to a great cause this Christmas, then there is no better time.
Why are we asking for donations?
The St Andrew's Club Christmas campaign is Bring Back Friday Night Youth Club! We do not currently have a dedicated mid-age-range provision for 9-13 year olds, and the Club is currently closed on a Friday. By opening the Club on Friday evenings, we will encourage younger members of our Senior Club to have their own targeted provision, easing the transition from Junior Club (5-9) to Senior Club (9-adult). This stepping-stone will provide a valuable transition for younger members, building motivation, confidence and resilience- crucial life skills.
Friday nights at St Andrew's will engage our mid-age range members through an inspiring programme of sport, creative and recreational activities, including party games and competitions, cookery and music production. They will be able to meet friends, learn new skills and have a safe and welcoming space in which to spend their Friday evenings.
The Club wants to re-open on Fridays, offering engaging activities for youngsters in a safe space
Friday nights will offer varied activities delivered by our passionate youth workers who are role models
If you’d like to support Bring Back Friday Night Youth Club then we’d love you to join us in the #ChristmasChallenge18. Please make a donation during those vital seven days and your money will be worth twice its original value, thanks to matched funds from the Gledswood Turst, the Brocklebank Charitable Trust and The Childhood Trust.
Help us reach our target of £14,513 to fund our Friday night youth club for one year.
