Festive Fun At St Andrew's

28 Dec 2025

St Andrew’s continued to prove it’s the place to be for young people during the festive season.

There were lots of festive activities throughout December, as young people revelled in the holiday spirit with: festive music, Christmas inspired crafts and games; cooking a roast dinner, and our Girls’ Group Christmas celebration.

A highlight in December, was an ice-skating trips at Queen’s House Ice Rink in Greenwich - with London iconic beautiful skyline as a backdrop. Young people enjoyed an incredible time roller skating with their friends and trusted Youth Workers. It was amazing to see so many happy faces gliding around the ice rink, creating treasured memories and spending meaningful time with friends.  Thank you to our friends at Cash for Kids, Bauer Media for arranging this trip.

The Club wrapped up the festive season during our Christmas Holiday Programme - with the Senior Club enjoying a roller skating trip organised by Outbreak – Pimlico Foundation. We had two Christmas parties at the Club – one for our Junior Club ages 5-9 and one for our Senior Club ages 9-+. Young people celebrated with their friends, enjoyed festive games, and got in the holiday spirit, ending the year surrounded by their peers and Youth Workers.

No festive season would be complete without gifts from Santa, and St Andrew’s was delighted to have plenty of gifts under the tree for young people. Thanks to some generous corporate supporters, the Club received over 200 gifts to distribute to our amazing members, making it a very merry Christmas for everyone at the Club. Providing children with gifts not only brings enjoyment and cheer to young people, it also relieves some of the financial pressure parents often feel during the festive season. A massive thank you to our corporate partners La Fosse and Jupiter Asset Management who generously donated gifts to the Club.

Last year, was an amazing year at St Andrew’s, jam-packed with new opportunities and enriching experiences for young people to enjoy, lessons to learn and memories to share. We can't wait to tell you about all the adventures children get up to at the Club in 2026.

Thank you so much to Westminster City Council for supporting our Holiday Programme this festive season.
